Abstract
The article provides an analysis of the theoretical sources of actual problems of psychological support of children and families who find themselves in difficult living conditions as a result of a military conflict in the conditions of educational institutions and studies and discloses the content of the directions of work in the activities of the psychological service of educational institutions. Studying in more detail the problems with which most school psychologists and social educators work most often, providing help to children and families who have received traumatic experience. It also determines the reasons that hinder the normalization of the state and successful adaptation of pupils in the school environment, and the purpose and tasks of the work in accordance with the indicated directions of activity.
