Abstract
In this article the author focuses readers’ attention on the forms which define the quality of the educational process in secondary education. As one of such forms she describes the pedagogical expert review applying which it is possible to define the quality both of educational institution activity in educational process and of its departments’ activity including the proficiency of teacher, as a main participant in teaching and educating next generation. The author describes the history which explains the occurrence of expert review in pedagogy, and its peculiarities, criteria, indicators.
