Abstract
The article is an attempt to draw attention of school headmasters and the public to modernization of content of education through development and introduction of model of the education for sustainable development (ESD) “Dovkillya” (1992–2014). The authors claim that the introduction of STEM education and the model of ESD “Dovkillya” as its domestic analog should be intensified and the external independent estimation should be modernized. Common features and differences between STEM education and the model of ESD “Dovkillya” are emphasized.
