Abstract
In the theses of the report, carried out by dr. Sergiy Bogdanov on May 25, 2017 at the 15th Symposium on the Contributions of Psychology to Peace (Florence, Italy), briefly describes the conditions, procedure and main results of one of the first systematic studies of the psychosocial problems of children and youth that live in a buffer zone of a military conflict in eastern Ukraine. It is shown that the information obtained in the study can become the basis for conceptualizing of a culture of specific resilience, as well as the platform for planning further competent psychosocial interventions in order to increase the effectiveness of overcoming the sadness and stress by the younger generations of Ukrainians who were directly affected by the military aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
