Abstract

The article presents the results of research on the creation and use of authoritative files of collective authors. The importance of authoritative files and authoritative control for the organization of the electronic catalog and ensuring its quality, as well as the use of them as a means of dentification and representation of a scientific institution is disclosed. The importance of authoritative control in the conditions of corporate interaction of libraries is also analyzed.
