Abstract
It is disclosed that the use of foreign experience is one of the key issue in the methodology of comparative education. The author underlines that globalization of the 21-st century, with its manifestations of intercultural interaction, integration, internationalization, regionalization, assimilation contributes to the implementation of a multidimensional model of comparison of countries and regions, distinguishing key trends whose purpose is to find innovations / positive characteristics for effective development / integration into the common educational space.
