Abstract

An analysis of domestic and foreign literature on profile education of senior pupils has been carried out. It is concluded that there are practically no scientific fundamental researches of the process of designing the contents of the profile technological education of senior pupils, the process of designing the content on a substantiated theoretical basis. It is stressed that in our time a fundamentally new content of technological education is required that would be oriented towards the development of pupils' creative abilities, the training of the person-creator, the creative personality, and the design and technological competence of the pupils.
