Abstract

Despite the rapid interest in the identified issues in the international educational space, in particular in Ukraine, there is a need for generalized studies aimed at comprehensive analysis and systematization of theoretical and methodological approaches to the development of the civic competence of a teacher of the 21st century. It is revealed that in-depth study needs psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of citizenship of students of pedagogical universities; the question of the possibility of dissemination and implementation of productive ideas of foreign pedagogical experience in the national multicultural educational space.
