Abstract
The article analyzes the general structure of education in Germany. The author describes the process of organizing state support for gifted children in Germany. It is noted that the beginning of the XXI century was a start for new research and the creation of organizations whose activities are aimed at diagnosing, identifying and supporting gifted children in Germany. The role of public organizations in this process is revealed.
