Abstract

The results of the approbation of the use of competence-oriented tasks in the process of teaching Russian in general schools in Ukraine. The theses highlighted the results of the scientific research "Scientific and methodological support for the control and evaluation of academic achievements of students in grades 5-6 from the languages of national minorities on a competency basis". The definition of competence-oriented tasks is given, their types, structure are characterized. The expediency of their use in the teaching of languages of national minorities on the basis of competence, in particular in the teaching of the Russian language, is substantiated.
