Abstract
The theses summarize the results of an experimental study on the problem of using molding evaluation in Russian lessons in Ukrainian schools. It has been proved that improving the content and methods of controlling and assessing achievements of students from the Russian language contributes to the interest of students 5-6 classes in language learning; the objectivity of evaluating the results of teaching students in accordance with the levels of their educational achievements, the education of students as conscious subjects of the learning process, responsible for the results of their work.
