Abstract

The article grounds conceptual basis for project-based training in professional (vocational) education schools for further project technologies use in future qualified workers professional training. It states the lack of appropriate fundamental studies on the topic in native scientific-pedagogical sector. Crucial state papers for the concept development are represented. The following concepts are defined: “project-based training in professional (vocational) education schools”, “methodological basis for project technologies development”. The important ideas for the concept of project-based training in professional (vocational) education schools are highlighted. The aim of project-based training in P(V)E schools is set in future qualified workers’ full development, responsible citizenship status, competences set (general professional, key and occupational) for assuring their further mobility and capability to employment. The appropriate organization-pedagogical tasks for reaching the following aim are represented. It outlines the core methodological approaches (systematic, activity-based, processing, integrated, personally-developing, competence-based, technological, subject-productive and context-based) and didactical principles (training direction to complex problem-solving tasks, students full education and development, training and work transition, different methods and forms combinations, as well as various training organisation forms according to training tasks and content, socio-cultural responsibility, positive motivation and favourable emotional climate, combining individual and team training forms, personal desirability, training efficiency, educational reflection) crucial and based for project-based training in P(V)E schools. The insight is provided into types of project technologies, e.g.: information-based (web-quests), researching, practice-oriented, social and creative ones. Pedagogical landscape of project technologies design for future qualified workers training is set. The appropriate guidelines for implementing the conceptual statements of project-based training in P(V)E schools are represented.
