Abstract
The methodological recommendations reveal the peculiarities of the study of labor training in grades 5-9 according to an updated program in which the learning outcomes are defined by 3 components: knowledge, activity and value. Particular importance in it is given to the value component, which is important for the formation of pupils key and subject competences.
