Abstract

The article analyzes the modern mathematics textbooks of several foreign countries in order to include tasks aimed at the formation of the key competences of students - initiative and enterprise; social and civic competence; culture awareness and expression; environmental literacy and healthy living. Specific examples of tasks related to financial calculations, civic identification and local history subjects, healthy lifestyle and ecology based on textbooks of Israel, India and Moldova are considered. The possibilities of forming students' key competences in the process of solving problems in the process of learning mathematics are revealed. The conclusion is made about the expediency of using the experience of building a system of tasks in textbooks of other countries in the selection of modern plots and types of tasks for teaching students in the modern conditions of modernization of school mathematics education in Ukraine.
