Abstract

Annotated results of the study of the study of Ukrainian literature in the fifth grade of schools with languages of instruction of national minorities are highlighted in the paper. The approaches to literary education in the students of these institutions of general secondary education are determined and the expediency of distinguishing literary reading in the course "Ukrainian literature" of the 5th form as a propaedeutic course is substantiated.
