Abstract

The article highlights the important problems of the learning process organization at secondary school of Ukraine in the context of the competence approach in education. The essence and the structure of pupils’ subject competences and its components are described. The necessary changes in pedagogical model are characterised. The special didactical conditions which are important for pupils’ competence development are identified. Some areas for further research of the topic are exposed.
