Abstract
In the thesis the results of the research on the problem are presented, that is “Methodology of the state final attestation in the form of external independent evaluation of graduates of the gymnasium”. In particular, during the research the influence of the form of test tasks on the level of educational outcomes of the seekers for basic secondary education was revealed. Thus, answering the tasks of the closed form, education seekers get better results. At the same time, they are more confident in their responses, answering open form tasks, but their confidence is overestimated: in fact. They often give incorrect answers to these tasks.
