Abstract

The article is devoted to the use of smartphones in the process teaching physics of primary school students to form a polytechnic component of subject competence in physics and key competences of primary school students. Teacher is no longer the only source of information, so its role is changing. A modern educator should have the opportunity use such pedagogical and information and communication technologies that will promote the development of educational and cognitive activities of pupils, and as well as the formation and development of key сompetencies.One such technology is a mobile learning technology that uses the BYOD principle in physics education. Using this principle in school is closely intertwined with the use of the principle of polytechnics and allows to increase the efficiency of training in physics classes. The article considers the features of using smartphones in the process of teaching physics, as digital measuring complexes. The smartphone in physics classes can be used as accelerometer, magnetometer, light meter, barometer, thermometer, compass, stroboscope, engineering calculator, sound generator, oscilloscope, stopwatch, etc.
