Abstract
The article describes the possibilities of using students' smartphones in the educational process in physics. Today, the teacher must be able to use such pedagogical and information and communication technologies that would promote the development of students' learning and cognitive activity, autonomy, as well as the formation and development of key competencies. Among such technologies is the technology of mobile learning using the principle of BYOD in the process of teaching physics.
