Abstract

This article reveals the realization of socio-cultural studying line in the literature reading process in 5 grades in schools which is teaching on national languages. The author focuses his aim on the specific features of reading Ukrainian literature for students of minorities. It is identified that, the full perception of literature depends on the level of Ukrainian language and reading skills, which are not sufficient enough for students of 5 grade. The basic tasks of reading and the structure of the program is given in the context of socio-cultural studying line. The basic principles of the socio-cultural line in the process of literary reading are separated.
