Abstract
The article describes the results of a pedagogical experiment conducted in the schools of Kyiv and Donetsk oblasts. The readiness of the graduates of the basic school for the conscious choice of the profile in the senior profile school is analyzed. The elements of methodology of professional orientation of students at physics classes are offered.
