Abstract

The article deals with the role of education as a social institution, which has significant potential for the positive children’s socialization, the formation of their worldview, as well as internalization of the personality’s values. It is noted that out-of-school education creates conditions for social development and creative self-realization of personality, promotes social protection and professional orientation of children and youth, and prevents negative manifestations in the youth environment.
