Abstract
In the context of reforming and modernizing special education on the path to the world educational space, scientists are faced with the task of developing a new effective educational and educational system aimed at the comprehensive development of the child with visual impairment and the formation of basic competences in accordance with the Concept of the new Ukrainian school. The teacher is now limited to the state standard, which outlines what students must know and be able to complete after completing a certain stage of study. How to reach these results will be determined by the teacher himself. The Ministry of Education and Science will offer standard curricula, but any teacher or author group will be able to supplement or create their own.
