Abstract

The manual is devoted to theoretical and practical problems of application of competence-oriented method of teaching history in the basic school. It describes the theoretical principles that characterize a competently oriented approach in school historical education, presents a conceptual-terminological apparatus on the problem, describes approaches to the development of chronological, spatial, logical, informational and axiological components of historical competence, the structure and methodology of the lessons they have to form. The manual will be useful for pedagogical workers of different profiles: teachers, teachers of teaching methodology departments of pedagogical institutes and universities, members of the departments of methodology of teaching history of institutes of postgraduate education and advanced training of teachers, students and postgraduate students.
