Abstract
Methodical recommendations are devoted to the formation of spatial orientation skills among children of the junior school age with profound disturbances of sight: practical experience has been studied and analysis of spatial orientation skills and methods has been analyzed, questions of organization of training for spatial orientation of students with deep visual impairment have been studied. The annexes provide recommendations for equipment for orientation in the space for blind and visually impaired children, test-tasks, thematic plan for spatial orientation, and correctional program for spatial orientation for children with deep visual impairment. The appendices provide recommendations for equipment for cabin orientation in the space for blind and visually impaired children, test-tasks, thematic plan for spatial orientation and correctional program for spatial orientation for children with severe vision impairment for preparatory - 4th grade. Methodical recommendations are addressed to heads of specialized institutions, defectologists, educators, students of defectological faculties, parents in work with children of junior school age with profound visual impairments in order to ensure the effectiveness of forming spatial ideas on spatial orientation skills in them.
