Abstract
The article reveals the topical issues related to the competence approach, which consists of the acquisition and development by digital students in the process of teaching geography and economics. The author analyzed the most typical teaching methods, the use of which will lead to the formation of digital competence in students. The content of the article indicates specifically geographic competencies (cartographic, spatial, geoformation) that need to be formed in the learning process, so there is a need for an integrated learning not only of geography and economics, but also computer science. The digital competence includes the information literacy, the literacy of the people, the communion, the secrets of digital content (including programming, the digital comfort, the problems of security), the same problems that arise in different problems, in this number of economical ones, those social. To form students' adaptive life-skills in the information society, possibly through the development of information and communication culture by various information tools (textbook, manual paper and digital, educational books, television, radio, newspapers, magazines, directories, Internet, student and family environment, etc. There are many components that can include a mixed learning model, including content provided by a teacher, e-learning, webinars, conference calls, live or online sessions with instructors and other media and events such as Facebook, e-mail, chats, blogs, podcasting, Twitter, YouTube, Skype and webcasts, etc. In Ukraine, the necessity of active acquaintance of lyceum students with the basics of geoformation systems and the essence of geoformation technologies has long been over. So, it is expedient to in-depth study of individual subjects, the widespread use of elective courses and electives, among which the geoinformational education should take the leading role, which will provide opportunities for the development of digital competences in the lyceum students.
