Abstract
The article raised the problem of applying to classical, neoclassical and Postnonclassical rationality in vocational guidance. The features of traditional methodologies such as classical and non-classical are chracterized. A special attention was paid at the Postnonclassical methodological approach to career guidance in terms of the profession-oriented education. The basic conflict between the objective rationality and the values rationality in terms of training of students to professional self-determination was dis- covered. It is found that the social and moral damage is caused by the classical and the non- classical thinking of career counseling. The current trends in career guidance system of the profession-oriened education including targeting students on mastering purely professional values, the formation of these «technological» approach to the professional self are pre- sented. The necessity to educate seniors by means of the Postnonclassical methodological approach to the social and the moral ideals and values was found out. The ample opportunity of the modern approach in the case of formation of humanistic outlook of students was de- termined. The issue of humanization of career guidance, making human values important are raised. The relationship between thinking and Postnonclassical education of students in high moral principles (humanity, patriotism, internationalism, optimism, selflessness, altruism) and moral qualities (social consciousness, ideology, new feelings, compassion, sensitivity, humanity, tolerance) was defined. The social and educational contradictions such as the Postnonclassical prevention of the implementation of the idea of rationality to the practice of career guidance were dicovered. The prospects for the realization of potential of the leading social and educational functions of the Postnonclassical approach were found. Postnonclassical principles of career counseling, namely, the reasonable grounds of the human values, moral and ethical behavior, social ideals, social guidance, objective value of the cognitive and the axiological were hypothetically identified. The basic task of educators to establish career guidance was set on the basis of the Postnonclassical methodology.
