Abstract
During the study the courses on the basics of learning USL according to a sign language model of communicative competence (SCC) was designed and experimentally tested. Grounded didactic and methodological principles that led to determining the content of sign language communicative competence of students from the standpoint of professional training. Presented organizational semantic model of SCC as part of general jurisdiction hearing teachers of foreign languages. The process of the formation is based on linguistic and pedagogical principles. It was found that important in learning of the basics of USL is the realization of competence approach - implementation of orderly, systematic and coherent study of language as a means of communication in a simulated classroom speech activities. The dynamic growth of FCC levels among the audience discovered after the molding stage of the experiment. The results of experimental work proved the effectiveness of the proposed system.
