Abstract
The article presents the results of a survey of military psychologists and military chaplains on the role of the family in maintaining the psychological state of the soldier at various stages in the performance of his military and combat tasks. The study found that the family could be both a supporting resource for servicemen and a negative factor that would affect the psychological state and, accordingly, the quality of the service. The results of the study draw attention to the need to support family members of the military at each stage of the task, which can prevent the emergence of most problems in the families of military personnel.
