Abstract

The analysis of the scientific pedagogical literature concerning problems of bilingual education and its potential in the organization of secondary education has been carried out. Two types of bilingual education programs have been characterized. Advantages and disadvantages of bilingual education have been determined. It has been proved that language and cultural recognition of national minority improve social and cultural interrelation among those groups and other representatives of the society. Bilingualism and organization of bilingual education as the subject of scientific investigations of pedagogues have been analyzed.
