Abstract
This guide is recommended for parents of children with speech impairment. The most widespread diagnosis is phonetic-phonemic underdevelopment, that is, violation of the processes of formation of the sound-speech system in children with different speech disorders. Correct speech is not only a clear sound, but also the ability to correctly express their thoughts, general development, culture, and the child's overall performance. That is why parents have a lot of questions: what is needed for a child's speech development, how to prevent the sound of a child from being violated, should a child be given to a special kindergarten, where to ask for help, how best to teach a child with such reading defects, etc. The author of the manual answers these and many other questions, provides specific advice on how to work with such children in order to successfully overcome the problems.
