Abstract
The theses of the report describe the empirical research on the playback theatre influence on the people affected by traumatic events conducted in September–October 2017. There are presented and analyzed its results, namely some psychological phenomena which influence the state of the psychologically traumatized teller during all stages of the playback theatre action. It was established that the main renewable effects for the person who tells own story during the playback theatre performances were the following: 1) finding new connections between the components of traumatic story, that is, the partial reinterpretation of the situation with the independent discovery of hidden resources; 2) feeling of support from other people due to the feeling of being heard, shared in experiences; 3) the existence of a cathartic effect itself, when the actors express a person’s feelings which wasn’t revealed independently; 4) the effect of detachment, "non-participation" – reinforcement of the person’s understanding that he or she is no longer in the experienced situation.
