Abstract
The content of the textbook is implemented on the basis of the interrelated teaching of Hebrew and Jewish culture in accordance with the contemporary world trends in education, in particular in the field of language education, which are aimed at the formation and development of multilingualism and interculturality among multicultural students in a multicultural society, and is based on competent and personally oriented the approaches to learning laid down in the current State Standard for General Elementary Education and the Hebrew Language Program for grades 1-4 in schools with Ukrainian language education. The result of studying this textbook will be the formation of speech, language, socio-cultural, in particular linguistic and cultural competences of 2nd grade pupils from the Hebrew language within the framework defined by the program, expanding the range of knowledge about the Hebrew language as one of the most important factors in the Jewish culture, in particular taking into account knowledge of the Ukrainian language. As a result, students will be able to display linguistic and cultural information in the language and use it to achieve the planned communicative goal, will demonstrate the ability to implement intercultural communication, which involves knowledge of language units with a national-cultural semantic component and the skills of their adequate use in intercultural communication situations, as well as abilities use background knowledge to achieve mutual understanding in situations of mediated and direct communication. Addressed to grade 2 students, Hebrew teachers, students, postgraduate students, methodologists, and teachers.
