Abstract

The article deals with the revised draft law of Ukraine "On Education", analyzing the content of which the author of the article notes that it presents many innovative ideas and conceptual provisions on which the basics of management and educational activity based in science are based but which are not completely reflected in the bill. It is noted that the modernization of educational activities should occur on scientific principles and principles, but management activities should also be based on clearly defined and structured conceptual, scientific or theoretical bases. It is indicated that the deployment of democratic processes in the system of secondary education management should take into account the world trends of sustainable democratic development of developed countries and requires the introduction of new, open and democratic governance models in the system of general secondary education.
