Abstract
The article highlights the use of information and communication technologies, in particular cloud services in the organization of national-patriotic education of secondary school students based on project activities. The components of national-patriotic education are defined, such as consciousness, feelings, tolerance, beliefs, and skills. It is justified the selection of cloud services for project implementation and their usage in development of school thematic digital web quests, essays, mini-compositions; use of a web-conferencing system, which significant feature is the possibility of communicating in English with peers from foreign countries or native speakers; use of OneNote service to organize students' project activities. The experience of organization and holding of All-Ukrainian projects “I am a patriot of my country” and “We unite Ukraine by a towel”, which were realized in 32 secondary education institutions during 2014-2017 with the use of cloud services Office 365, is described. The article identifies the main stages of the project work using cloud services Office 365: online registration of participants, online organization of cooperative work, study of historical past, conducting surveys, developing objects, mastering technologies for manufacturing objects, creating a digital communication system, collection of data on the attitude to the project or impressions on the work in the project, presentation of the results of the participants. The aspect of using systems of computer modeling (SCMOD) in the development of national-patriotic education of high school students is considered. It is necessary to focus further research on methodological support of the learning process of secondary schools in matters of national-patriotic education.
