Abstract
With the development of market mechanisms and increasing the role of public opinion, the problem of forming the image of scientific institutions and institutions of higher education is becoming increasingly relevant and more important. The success of their activities depends on the attitude of partners, consumers and society as a whole. The first step in the management process that begins with the diagnosis is the start-up. The effectiveness of planning is largely conditioned by the ability of those who develop the plan to think strategically, that is, to predict and formulate the parameters of the desired state of things in the future, to determine which forces and factors will facilitate or hinder progress and choose a strategy for approaching the goal. Today, each academic institution and institution of higher education have their own electronic resource. It is important to analyze the relevance and effectiveness of using a website that can be implemented through a variety of analytical systems: Spring Metrics, Woopra, Google Analytics, Clicky, Mint, Chartbeat, etc. The most popular of these systems is the free Google Analytics service.
