Abstract

The paper describes modern trends in studying the experience of deaf communities in relation to national Sign Languages. The author draws attention to the main documents that regulate the status and basic provisions of the Sign Languages, the report 2013. The paper describes the Ukrainian researchers’ achievement of the Ukrainian Sign Language popularization in the European Union and in the world in the international project.
