Abstract
The author highlights the competence-activity approach to building a system of tasks of the school textbook of history, reveals the basic methodological requirements for the formulation of the conditions of the tasks of the school textbook of history. In particular, the system of tasks of the textbook of history should ensure that students use the appropriate methods and methodology of historical and social research in the analysis of relevant typical subjects, encourage them to study questions and understand the purpose of the activity, predict, perform self-control and self-correction, evaluate the quality of work performed.
