Abstract

In the article possibilities of formation of key competences of the pupil by means of an educational subject of chemistry are considered. The attributes of the competence approach are set out in comparison with the traditional approach to the main parameters: the purpose, the tasks of education, the essence of the learning process, the activity of the student, the activity of the teacher, the means of teaching, monitoring and evaluation, the teaching methodology etc.
