Abstract

The article substantiates the relevance of museum pedagogy as an interdisciplinary branch of scientific knowledge. It is emphasized that the leading museums of the world are becoming important centers of education, education and development of man. It is substantiated that museums, as a kind of educational guidebooks, provide access to the national cultural and natural heritage for citizens of different age and social categories. The content and organizational components of the project "Cooperation of the Melitopol Municipalities of Libraries and Museums as a Resource of the Development of Adult Education Development", implemented by the Scientific and Methodological Center for the Education of Adults of the Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky and the Institute of Teacher and Adult Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, are detailed.
