Abstract

The paper is devoted to the processes of student involvement in functioning of quality assurance processes in the context of creation of European Higher Education Area (EHEA), the key principle of which is student-centered learning. Student, as a main recipient of educational services, is a central figure of educational process. That is why, their involvement in processes of internal and external quality assurance currently becomes a mainstream of educational policies. It is reflected in international documents, like Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), which was approved by the Ministerial Conference in Yerevan in 2015. As a main mechanism of student involvement in the systems of quality assurance at institutional level we identify its mandatory presence among the members of national agencies for higher education quality assurance and other institutions of this type.
