Abstract

In the article, the scientific researches of Academician S. Honcharenko are analyzed in the context of the problem of forming the scientific view of the world. The scientist considered the formation of scientific view of the world and the scientific outlook as a complex, dynamic and controversial process, which is influenced by many factors (social environment, content and quality of education in school, family, mass media, etc.). S. Honcharenko stressed that the formation of the scientific view of the world requires systematized and generalized knowledge; it is the result of integration process during the study of educational subjects. In his view, the basis of the world's view is the integration providing a generalization of individual views, concepts, and human perceptions of the surrounding world and himself. The author carried out a systematic analysis of the dissertation researches of representatives of academician S. Honcharenko`s scientific school concerning the identified problem. It was determined that theoretical and methodical principles became the subject of the scientists’ researches: formation of the individual scientific outlook through the means of knowledge generalization; interdisciplinary relations; formation of value-ideological orientations; ecological and methodological components, etc. It was found out that the doctoral and candidate work, which S. Honcharenko consulted in different years, are devoted to the theoretical foundations, organizational and methodological aspects of the development of knowledge integration in the conditions of specialists’ professional training, and the problem of forming the knowledge integrity. The author examines the content and problems of the researches, identifies the leading directions of the scientific research, and analyzes the main scientific achievements of the researchers. According to the results of the conducted research, it was defined that the subjects of dissertational works are reflection of a wide range of scientific interests of the prominent scientist. It was determined that the team of like-minded researches of the Academician S. Honcharenko’s scientific school made a significant contribution to the development of pedagogical theory and practice.
