Abstract

Paper is devoted to coverage of the conditions development of orphanages in Ukraine and the definition of the typology of children's homes in the period from 1940 to 1960. The study found that the typology of children's homes was influenced by socio-political, socio-economic and pedagogical conditions that arose under the influence of social determinants in accordance with the law of determinism in the education of N.V. Kudykinoy.
