Abstract
Questions modern improvement and expansion of the network of preschool educational institutions of different types and forms of ownership are actual for the education system in Ukraine, in particular pre-school education. Given the current requirements for the operation of pre-school education, we can say about the importance of studying the problem of pre-school educational institutions of different types. Historical and pedagogical research are directing to the choice of adequate methods his carrying out with purpose is to address one of the problems - justification periodization of the development of pre-school educational institutions of different types. Spent earlier historiography of the above problem, the study proves that the periodization of preschool educational institutions of various types in the education system of Ukraine, as a scientific problem, has not been the subject of a special study of the historical and pedagogical and historical research. To determine the periodization of preschool educational institutions of various types in the education system of Ukraine in this article, we set out to identify the choice of method of periodization (diachronic method) and an example of one of the substantive content of the criteria, in particular, legislative, confirm the adequacy, effectiveness and compliance with the maximum current tasks. Analysis of scientific views on the implementation of the methodology of historical and educational research methodology allowed the appeal to history, which uses specially-traditional historical research methods. Given knowledge of the structural and diachronic study and the characteristics of the term "diachrony", we used the diachronic method to identify the construction of the development process of preschool educational institutions of different types over time (especially in the sequence). In the process of historical and pedagogical research revealed the facts of historical sources (archival government documents, materials pedagogical press) and historiographical facts (scientific historical and pedagogical research in the field of pre-school and general pedagogy, special education, history of Ukraine on the basis of which is divided by a clear historical time chronological localization process, which we study. On the example of substantial content of legislative criteria we considered the process of development of pre-school educational institutions of various types in the system of education in Ukraine and outlined his periodization using diachronic method (periodization).
