Abstract
The author highlights the contribution of Academician S. Goncharenko to the development of the theory and methodology of teaching physics. It is noted that the significant contribution of academician S. Goncharenko to the formation of the content of teaching physics in high school is determined by the system of original textbooks that implemented the author's technique, and for a long time were the basis of teaching and methodological support of the school course of physics.
