Abstract
In this article the issue of language education in the mentally retarded pupils of 2 – 4 classes of a special school in the conditions of its reform is considered. A review of available special literature, which covers the formation of initial language generalizations in mentally retarded students, is presented. We have a large number of special literatures, which have been fleshed out, but this question remains very relevant and not completely open to the beginning of the mentally retarded pupils of 2 – 4 classes of a special school in the conditions of its reformation. The article examines the results of the search for methods, teaching methods and the formation of initial language generalizations that directly contribute to the formation of grammatical concepts, in particular, such as «words that denote the name of an object»– the noun, «words that signify the action of an object»– the verb, «words that mean signs of an object» – the adjective.
