Abstract

The characteristic features of ecological competence of elementary school pupils are revealed. The complex of complementary methods of research of ecological competence of junior schoolchildren is presented, criteria and indicators of the formation of ecological competence in elementary school students are described. According to the results of the study, four types of formation of the ecological competence of elementary school students were characterized: passively adaptive irresponsible, passively adaptive with a conformal level of responsibility, adaptive with an executive level of responsibility, adaptive with an initiative level of responsibility.
