Abstract
The article presents the results of generalization of the empirical experience of psychological support for internally displaced persons and their children. Attention is focused on such characteristics of the content of the activity of psychologist as: diagnosis of the mental state of the victims, the main tasks of the work, the conceptual model of psychological support, the manifestation and consideration of sociocultural context in the work process. Conclusions were drawn about the prospects of further research of this contingent of victims. Tasks were formulated for their psychological support and methodological equipping of specialists for the work with resettlement on PTSD symptoms prevention and overcoming.
