Abstract

Using means of activization of reader's imagination and representation of the historical knowledge influencing formation of axiological reference points of young readers major factors of formation of national identity of the personality are allocated. Considering age features of reader's audience, importance of application of the corresponding structural elements of children's literature of a historical genre is proved: the time and spatial "shifts", diversity of the image, a mythologization and glorification of historical space emphasizing essence of heroic acts of the characters allowing to project long ago the taken place events on the present.
