Abstract

The purpose of this article is to review the state of early childhood in different countries of the five continents of the world: developed, developing and countries with economies in transition. Analyzes the approaches of the States in the development of the first link in the preschool world - training and education of young children. Distinguished types of preschool institutions in the public and private forms of ownership, determines the age of children covered by preschool education and educational models that are specific to these countries. The analysis of legislative documents of the countries, analytical reports to the sessions of the UN on the status of development of the industry at the turn of XX-XXI centuries, research scientists, conclusions: improving the socio-economic level of the country increases and expands opportunities for children in their survival, health, learning and development from birth. The state educational policy of the countries participating in the UN is determined by the strategies of international organizations (UN, UNESCO, UNICEF) aimed at ensuring the rights of children with respect to their normal life. The implementation of the task - the achievement of the welfare of the child at an early age, namely, the satisfaction of it biological, psychological and social needs is achieved by the integrated efforts of the state, different social institutions institutions, public organizations, foundations, and parents.
